Vesper is a Lamplighter. With every assignment, she steps into a dying world — a game whose servers are shutting down, a cancelled anime, a silent film with no prints remaining — finds the one unfinished thing keeping that world awake, helps it reach its ending, then turns off the lights and says goodnight. She never says goodbye. Until one day, a world still loved by millions appears on her list — someone is murdering these worlds.
