Dating Another Me
Ai Morikawa, a 26-year-old system evaluation engineer, accidentally causes the company’s humanoid robot KGY-01 to synchronize with her Memory Cloud data, creating Homura—“another version of herself” with the same appearance but a far more confident and daring personality. When 22-year-old art student Haru Asakura asks her on a date, Ai is so afraid of ruining everything that she sends Homura in her place. What begins as a one-time substitute date gradually spirals into an uncontrollable case of mistaken identity, forcing Ai to stop relying on “another version of herself” and finally face her own feelings and choices.
